Hi all,

My wife and I are planning a 17 days trip to Switzerland. We plan to buy the 15 days Swiss Pass. Do we get any special rate when we book the Gotthard Panorama Express from Lucerne to Lugano? We were confused over the rates when we check the ticket prices for the Gotthard Panorama Express.

Hi PaulSim and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

With a Swiss Travel Pass (I assume that’s what you mean) the Gotthard Panorama Express is free apart from a modest seat reservation surcharge for the Flüelen to Lugano train leg only. No further ticket required. You can reserve seats at http://www.myswissalps.com/go tthardpanoramaexpress/ packages

There is no seat reservation required or even possible on the boat trip Lucerne to Flüelen.
