    Welcome to MySwissAlps Deepali!

Everything about the Swiss Travel Pass (how it works, what’s included) can be found here: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass. For the Glacier Express and route details, please look here: http://www.myswissalps.com/gl acierexpress.

You can order the Swiss Travel Pass from any of the websites listed here: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/price. Some may not allow to buy for more than 10 people at once, but at least through the official site at https://www.swissrailw ays.com/en and through https://www.happyrail. com/en/pass/europe/swi tzerland/swiss-travel-pass-consecutive this will not be a problem. The pass will be send via e-mail if you select that option (recommended) so you can print the passes at home.

Once you have the Swiss Travel Pass you don’t need any further tickets for most of your trips. Please read the above pages and download the Swiss Travel Pass map to see what’s included.

The tickets are covered by your Swiss Travel Pass. For groups (10 or more) the seat reservation is mandatory for all trains of the GoldenPass Line. You can do that on our website here: http://www.myswissalps.com/go ldenpass/packages. The 14:30 train from Geneva gets you in Interlaken at 18:49, with a change in Montreux and Zweisimmen (Golden Pass line).

It will be a long day, but it is possible. Read here (http://www.myswissalps.com/gl acierexpress) how you can do a part of the Glacier Express from Interlaken or Lucerne.

Yes, we do have retailers listed: http://www.myswissalps.com/ju ngfraujoch/tickets. You might not want to do it much in advance as you will never know what the weather is like. Best is to wait until the day of your trip, or the day before.

In terms of an alternative plan, have you researched the following pages:

    Hi deepali19,

The trains leaving Zweisimmen to Montreux will stop in Gstaad. No problem with stopping there for a few hours and then continuing the trip. The timetable will give you the schedules for any travel day: https://www.myswissalp s.com/timetable

    >> we are taking golden line from mountrax.i want to get off at Gstaad & spend few hours there can we do that

If you break your journey, you will need separate reservations for each leg of the journey i.e. Zweisimmen-Gstaad and Gstaad-Montreux.

Please note spelling of place names.

    Normally no, reservations are optional.

Groups of 10 or more should be making reservations. I suppose you can try to get on without them and try to sit together.

I am thinking of buying 4 days pass and then two saver day pass to make it total 6 days…will that be cheaper/smarter?

    Hi Deepali,

It depends on what you’ve planned exactly for the 2 additional days (so including excursions). You may not save much, if anything: the price difference between a 4-day and 8-day Swiss Travel Pass is only CHF 128, or possibly a bit less if you buy from the cheapest retailer (http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/price). Two Saver Day Passes will cost you CHF 104. That’s the minimum price if you can buy them early enough and if they’re available for your dates. They do not include the mountain trip discounts or free museums entry like the Swiss Travel Pass does. And the kids won’t be traveling for free as you don’t have a valid Swiss Travel Pass those days.

Doing the math is the best way to know for sure: http://www.myswissalps.com/tr ain/ticketspasses/prac tical/chooserailpass. But personally I’d keep thing simple and go for one pass I think.
