Hi !

We are planning to buy 15 days swiss travel pass to explore the country. We are 2 adults and child (age - 13 years).

I have read on this website that " child travels for free, even to mountain tops "

My question is,

1. does this means that all mountain excursion are totally free for the child ( below 15 )

2. Does it mean that whilst adults get only 25% off on Jungfrau railway the child will travel for free ?

thanking you in advance,

Good day !

Adil.

Hello Adil and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

Good news - if you decide to get a Swiss Travel Pass for the adults PLUS the free Swiss Family Card, then all your questions can be answered with YES - the children travel for FREE, EVEN on routes where the adults "only" get a reduction. Find details to the two rail passes below:

Best,
Steph
