Hi I have query regarding swiss pass ..

www.myswissalps.com/swisspass

1) Is it valid for golden pass train also.. from lucerne to interlaken..

2) is valid for mt titlis also ? (how much money i will save)

I will be in switzerland only for 3 days.. so just thinking the viability of this pass.
I will be staying in lucerne only for all 3 days and..plan to see mt titlis, lucerne and interlaken.. and if possible zurich and rhino falls.

Regards
Ravi

Hello Ravi! The Golden Pass trip is for free with a Swiss Pass; you only need to pay for separate seat reservations. A 50% discount applies to the Titlis. Regular fares can be found at the Titlis website. You can download a validity map from the Swiss Pass page to find out which routes and cable cars are covered.

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the reply.

1) I only wanted to know whether i can directly buy it at zurich airport.. and whether 2 for 1 option is valid there also?
2) I am travelling in 2 days and is their a option to buy this online and get an electronic ticket?or any similar option to get the ticket.

Ravi

Hello Ravi. Purchase options can be found by filling out your country of residence in the upper right corner of the Swiss Pass page, under the header 'Where to buy your Swiss Pass'. The 2 for 1 offer should be purchased online, but you won't be able to use it as it's not valid for traveling in June. A Swiss Pass is a paper ticket that will be sent by regular mail. Expected delivery dates will be displayed in the reseller overview if you click 'Show more information'.

Hello Ravi. Did you check the purchase options as I suggested? Local purchase of a Swiss Pass is possible. If you want to be able to travel for free in most cases, a 4 day Swiss Pass would be a good choice. The Swiss Half Fare Card would be an alternative.

Hi Annika,

1) I checked, but they require 3 - 8 working days to deliver. I need it on friday. And if i purchase in swizerland i have to pay double for two persons?

2) Swiss half fare card is good if we are staying for long days, not just for 3 days? Isnt it?

appreciate your help.

Hello Ravi. If you purchase your pass in Switzerland, you'll just pay regular prices. The 2 for 1 offer is an exception to these prices (and not even valid for the period you're traveling in). The Swiss Half Fare Card is valid for a month, but can also be used for a shorter stay. Further details are available at the Swiss Half Fare Card page.
