>how can we check the train schedule, or board the train<
When you pick up the Swiss Pass at any ticket window ask the staff when the next train to your destination is leaving and from what track ("Gleis")
You will need to make changes (at least one) enroute so also ask staff to print out a timetable for you. Then you will know on which track you arrive, when your departing train is leaving, and from which track. This is important information to have as often times the changes are of short duration (less than 10 minutes) and require you to move quickly. If you don't know from where or when your next train leaves you will lose to much time trying to figure it out. Also, to ensure you make the change, have all of your luggages and traveling companions together standing by the train door a few minutes before the train pulls into the station. This will allow you to make the most efficient trip. However, if you miss a connection, there is usually another train within 30 minutes or so.
