Hello

We leave from US on July 15 to Spain and arrive in Geneva early July 22. We leave Swiss on July 27.

I plan on getting 4 day swiss pass and one day zurich pass.

Question: Is it too late to order swiss pass via email option where you print at home. If i order tomorrow, will i get the pass before 15th? please advise.

Thanks

Maria

Hi Maria,

It's not too late if you order tomorrow. Note that you need the Swiss Travel Pass, not the Swiss Pass (it's not the same thing). Please find two options to order below:

  • Rail Europe (payment in USD): go to www.raileurope.com/rai l-tickets-passes/swiss-pass/index.html and pick the "e-pass" option. They currently offer various discounts: please see here and here. You'll receive the pass in about one business day.
  • Through the Swiss Railways web shop (payment in CHF): visit www.swissrailways.com/ en. After filling out your address, they will show the delivery options. Pick "Online Ticket" from the bottom of the list. You can use the Notes field to request delivery before the 14th (just to make sure). Many people do so when arriving in Europe first and in Switzerland later.

Note that you can print the pass anywhere: at home, in a hotel, etc. All purchase options are listed here.

If you want to buy the ZurichCARD in advance you can do so here: www.getyourguide.com/z urich-l55/zuerichcard-save-on-attractions-transportation-and-dining-t13219.

Enjoy your trip to Europe!

Maria and other travelers,

If you end up ordering only 1-3 days out I highly suggest calling Rail Europe in order to do Print at home. I ordered the tickets one day before flying out and they released the tickets for me on the spot while on the call. Otherwise it takes 2-3 days for processing before you can print.

best,

nisha
