My partner and I (residents of Australia) are travelling through Switzerland in May 2020.

We intend to travel by train from Basel to Chur on our 1st day and then following day travel on Bernina Express to Tirano.

Just like to know which is the best economic way to purchase the tickets for the two journeys – Basel to Chur and then Chur to Tirano. Which would be the most appropriate travel pass for those 2 days. A Saver day pass , Multi day rail pass or will point to point tickets be better?. Just looking for best option.

Note from Tirano we will be travelling (by train) to Italian lakes and then Rome – by train. So a Euro rail pass maybe considered too.

    Much appreciate your opinions
