Can the swiss saver pass used from Tirano to Chur?

Our earlier plan was France and Switzerland. But then I want to do Bernina express either from chur or st.moritz, hence clubbing Italy too.

Does the train have same route both ways, or they have different views, in that case, we take return trip and skip italy.

Pl advise.

Also planning to do Jungfrau, Mt.Titlis. do you suggest we include glacier 3000 into our itinerary?

Yes, the Saver Day Pass will cover the train ticket on the Bernina Express to Tirano. However you must also make reservations. Yes the route is the same in both directions.

I would add the Glacier 3000 if you are staying around the Montreux area (somewhere not too far).

If you want an Italian flavour the Bernina Express Bus continues from Tirano to Lugano. From there you can return to Zurich or for a great experience to Lucerne on the Gotthard Panorama Express (http://www.myswissalps.com/go tthardpanoramaexpress) after an overnight in Lugano. Depends what the rest of your itinerary looks like as to whether you can fit that in.

I’m not sure what you overall itinerary looks like but if you happen to be staying in Zurich and you are pressed for time you may even consider http://www.rhb.ch/en/tickets-travelcards/promotions /gotthard-bernina-circular-tour#c26401.

Although taking this trip you would miss much of the Italian experience apart from a pizza for lunch in Tirano. 😎
