Do the departure times of Swiss trains change seasonally? I am traveling in June and want to get an idea of what the departure and arrival times will be on my planned travel days now.

    Hi JPAR,

What you find on the timetable now, will not change. http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable

The schedule is updated once per year and if there are differences in summer vs. winter or Sundays vs. Mondays, it is still set for the year. 🙂

    Cheers!

European Train timetables changes once a year in early December.

Main line Swiss train timetables stay the same throughout the year – unless there is engineering work

on the track. Apart from that there may be very minor differences between levels of service (for example on a few lines there are trains that run Monday – Friday only because they are aimed at commuters)

There are a few mountain tourist lines that are summer only (such as Schynige Platte)
