Swiss transfer ticket plus 3-5 day ski pass zermat

Hi,

im thinking if travelling to zermatt from zurich next month and want to know best value/option. Does the Swiss transfer ticket get me from Zurich airport to zermatt (include the red Matterhorn train)? And return 6 days later? And am I better to get lift pass and ski hire once in zermatt?

Yes, the Swiss Transfer Ticket gets you from Zurich airport to Zermatt and back. If you buy the Swiss Transfer Ticket Combi, you will also get a 50% discount on the main lifts and mountain trains (e.g. the Gornergrat train) in Zermatt, but not on ski passes.
