Hi – I am about to buy the Swiss 8 day Travel Pass. I have already reserved my seat on the Bernina Express First Class from Tirano to Chur. Does that now mean that I HAVE to buy a first class Swiss Travel pass for all of my other journeys please?

    Hi MArion,

No, you can buy a 2nd class Swiss Travel Pass (https://www.myswissalp s.com/swisstravelpass/ price) and then buy a class upgrade at the rail station prior to boarding the Bernina Express train.

    Hi Marion,

The timetable will give you the price. Click the red ticket to buy and you can find 1st class and 2nd class ticket prices. Upgrade tickets are 1/2 the price difference.
