Quite disappointed…I just bought my tickets on klook (2 days ago) and no where did it mention that there would be a 25% offer. It was only when I was looking for boat timings for Lake Thun in myswissalps website that I saw of this promotion.

Advice to put future promotions on all websites available so that there won’t be too much disappointments in the future.

    Hi everyone,

The discounted Swiss Travel Passes are now available via SBB at https://shop.switzerlandtravelcentre.com/#/en/home and HappyRail at https://www.happyrail.com/en/pass/europe/switzerland/swiss-travel-pass-consecutive.

Thanks for sharing this information, as I think it is an exciting offer.

My plan for our party of seven next July had been to get 4 Half-Fare cards (CHF 120 each) plus Saver Day passes for 3 days.

But with this promotion it seems as though CHF 174 for four adults, with the three children free, is the better and simpler deal, and not have to worry about Saver Day Passes.

    Thanks!

so please confirm to wait for what as I will come on 14 November inshallah

    thanks

    Hello–

I thought the 25% was going to be off the low prices announced for 2022. But when i attempt to buy a 15-day 1st class pass for 15 days for next year it shows a price of $608, which is 25% off the current price of $810. Shouldn’t it be 25% of $675, which is the 2022 price for the pass?

    Thanks,

    Carrie

    Hi guys

Today I went to the link you guys provide and found 25% discount

just for curiosity I downloaded already SBB app and went on the website but it’s not showing this discount. Any idea why?

I downloaded the app just for regular use and to see travel time and connection

if I bought Swiss pass from your link, would I be able to connect the pass to SBB

    thanks

    sohail

    Hi Carrie,

This is explained in my initial post under “Details”: http://www.myswissalps.com/forum/topic/swiss-travel-pass-25-off-until-11-december-2021.

    Hi Sohail,

The app is indeed handy to check travel times but you don’t need it to buy tickets. The Swiss Travel Pass is your ticket, you don’t need anything else to travel by trains, buses and boats. In case of discounted cable cars you’ll buy a ticket at the entrance (or online from their website) and you’ll get a discount if you show your pass. Please see http://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/howtouse.

“SwissPass” is for Swiss residents and not something you need (http://www.myswissalps.com/train/ticketspasses/practical/swisspass). The Swiss Travel Pass is never connected to the SBB app, so no worries 🙂

Arno, thank-you. I realized I misread the details after i posted my question, but i was unable to edit or delete my question. I then deleted my account in the hopes it would remove the question, but it did not. I created this new account so i could respond.

Thanks again. And thanks for the info. on the sale. I was able to take advantage of the previous sale for my Sept. 2021 trip and look forward to the sale for my June 2022 trip.

    Hi Carrie/Frances25,

I see, no problem. If you delete your account you’ll delete all user info but not the messages as that would leave incomplete threads that don’t make sense any more. You can edit your messages up to one hour after posting. If you’d like to edit or delete a message after that, feel free to e-mail us via the “Get in touch” menu.

Glad to hear you were able to take advantage of both sales!

Just bought mine for next September when I’m bringing four friends, three of which have never been to Switzerland. Bought through the Swiss Travel Center just as I did this past July for my trip this year. All was perfect. Note to US buyers, and likely others as well. Pay in Swiss Francs by selecting that currency on the top right hand part of the site next to the shopping cart. Once you’ve filled out your purchase info the site will ask you again if you want to pay in your currency or Swiss Francs. My credit card (which has no transaction fees) can negotiate a better exchange rate and I’ll save around $23.

Thank you for posting this sale. There are five of us that are excited to take advantage of it!

Thank you Laurae for that tip! I did not realize that was possible and thought my only option was to pay in US dollars. I thought my credit card would make the best exchange. So I was surprised at how disadvantageous the exchange was. Now I know. Thank you!

If I buy the discount STP, can I CHANGE the start date or would I need to cancel the pass if I want to change date ( within the 11 month timeframe)?

    thanks in advance
