    Hi,

We are planning to buy three days travel pass. We are flying in Zurich. Is this possible if we can buy Swiss Travel Pass at Zurich Airport when we land? We are planning to travel to Luzern, Jungfraujoch, Bern and Lausanne. Do we have to reserve seats even if we have travel pass? Do we have to book ticket for Jungfraujoch?

    Hi akjas,

Sure you can buy it in Zurich (all purchase options are listed here). But it’s more convenient to buy it online and print it at home. That way you don’t have to wait for a ticket office and you can for sure catch the first available train. If you go to http://www.swissrailways.com/ en to order it, be sure to select “Online Ticket” when delivery options are presented. You’ll receive the pass through e-mail in 2 to 3 business days.

You don’t have to reserve seats, please see:

    Enjoy your stay!

    Hi Annika,

The online tickets purchased on SWISS TRAVEL is not refundable. Is that correct? I see this as a problem considering that there is no option to cancel the pass

    Regards

    Hi Priya,

In general these kind of passes are 85% refundable if not used, and to my experience 100% if the pass has been paid but not issued yet. But you’d best check with them if you want to know all details. Your travel insurance should cover this as well if you can’t travel because of an emergency. But again you’d best check with them directly.
