hi, may i know how to use the swiss travel pass?

Just show the pass to the Ticket Officer at the train gate (just like the Japan Railway pass) or do i need to go to the office to exchange a physical ticket?

thanks

Hi Reitoswiss,

You only have to show your pass once you are on board and only if requested. You'll find it all explained on our Swiss Travel Pass page: www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/howtouse.

Your Swiss Travel Pass will get you 50% discount on the cogwheel train to the Gornergrat.

No.

Full fare prices for the Gornergrat train are here:

www.gornergratbahn.ch/ en/summer/railway-information/prices/

Note that fares vary according to the season. You will pay 50% of those prices with your Swiss Travel Card.
