I’m planning a trip to St Gallen next August. Does the Swiss Travel Plan cover bus tickets within the city?

Hi Fulton and welcome to MySwissAlps!

Yes, the Swiss Travel Pass covers transport in St. Gallen (as well as almost all cities in Switzerland).

You can see a PDF may here of what that pass covers.

If you would like to buy the Swiss Travel Pass you can do so online here. It can be emailed to you for printing at home. Be sure your dates are set before buying of course because you must select a start date for the pass.

    Hi Fulton-

While you are in Skt. Gallen, and in the old town, make sure to have a meal at Weinstube zum Baümli.

Very old, very Swiss, very nice, very good Swiss food.

I will make sure I try that restaurant. It sounds delicious! Should a reservation be made or is one required? Thank you.

    I have never needed one.

The interior has a nice feeling, too.
