Want to travel through swiz in a group of 4 adults in may 2021 from Zurich ..then to Lucerne for 3 nights and on to Interlaken for 3 nights . From here we want to get on panoramic train to Montreux .We will probably get 2nd class 8 day flex pass but from Interlaken to Montreux we want first class ticket so we can get the seats we want. What is the best way to do this?

You can upgrade to first class for one leg of a trip, but I’m not sure it is worth the hassle. The views on the MOB line Zweisimmen – Montreux are largely the same regardless of which seat you sit in. It is a bit early to say how far forward the MOB will be by 2021 with the gauge changing train service etc

You may upgrade to first class seats from Interlaken to Montreux and you can do this online or from the “SBB App.” I have also attached a link about point to point train tickets as well.

When you purchase online, you will need to print out the ticket. When you purchase it from the App, you will need to show the ticket on your phone screen to the train conductor.
