Hi,

We bought swiss travel pass for four days and were thinking to take the golden train from Montreux to Lucerne on 31st May 2019. Can the swiss travel pass be used to travel in golden train? Also, Should I explicitly reserve the tickets for golden pass, if so then how much will it cost and were should I mention about Swiss travel pass?

Nice to hear you’re coming along to Switzerland!

The Swiss Travel Pass covers the journey on the Golden Pass scenic train, however between Montreux and Zweisimmen a seat reservation is recommended, which is not included in the pass.
