I'm confused. Is it 8 consecutive days, plus two free consecutive days, for a total of 10 consecutive days? Or is it 8 consecutive days, plus two flexible days?

Hello all -

This is such a useful forum - thank you so much to everyone who is monitoring and answering questions here!

We are a family of 4 - 2 adults, 2 kids. I got the Swiss Pass with the Family Card and I see that it covers all that I need up to Murren and Wengen in the Jungfrau region. If I am to go any further up the mountains (to Schlithorn or Jungfrawjoch), I have to purchase a ticket, but I can get a 1/2 price ticket with my pass. My question is do my kids still get to travel free on my 1/2 price ticket?

Thanks!

Leanne

Hi Leanne,

I'm glad you like it here! Your kids travel for free everywhere you go, regardless if it's a free or discounted route for the parents. To Jungfraujoch it's 25% off, the others are 50% off, some are free (like Schynige Platte). Please see the map for details.

Hi,

I know am being cheeky here but I reside in England and trying to book the passes through raileurope.com website to gain the advantage of the promotion. I am entering details correctly (i.e. contact no. of England and country of residence as England). I can go all the way to entering credit card information and still able to see 10 day (8+2) offer. Looks like I may be able to book tickets but not sure why are they not stopping me.

Have you got any experience on this side?

Cheers

Nik

Hi, Nik,

I tried this too but stopped myself when proceeding to payment, I know they may check the passport and Swiss pass together on train, but I think it is just to confirm the identity of the holder of the Swiss Pass.

Hi, all,

My situation is my daughter is studying and living in Canada right now but she does not hold a Canadian passport, could she still get the promotion ticket?

Hi Anna,

The promotion is for Canadian and US residents so she may be asked to prove she is a resident (if she has a resident permit than it may be ok but you may want to contact them).

Hi Nik,

You may be able to buy it now, but they may cancel the booking later if they see you don't qualify for the pass!

Thanks, Lucas.

Also, I want to ask if I send the languages to Geneva, how could I check the latest pick-up time from SBB's website for Geneva Station. I tried to check on the following link but couldn't find the answer -

www.sbb.ch/content/int ernet/sbb/en/bahnhof-services/bahnhoefe/bah nhof-genfcornavin.html

Thanks,

Anna

Hi Anna,

Express luggage, if dropped off at the station before 9am, can be picked up at your destination by 6pm the same day. You can read more about luggage transit, with links to SBB here.

If you have further questions about this or another topic please start your own thread as this is supposed to be just about the Swiss Travel Pass promotion. Thanks!
