Hi Chuteck,
In the SBB tourist webshop at https://shop.switzerla ndtravelcentre.com/#/e n/home, you first need to click to the Swiss Travel Pass page. Then you need to select 2 adults, 1 “Youth 16 – < 26” and 1 “Children < 16”. You will see that this gets you the Swiss Family Card for CHF 0.
You don’t need to purchase anything else.

Hi Arno, i am not sure why SBB still charging me full children rate. Before we proceed to select the passenger , they will ask whether Swiss Family Card is required, we choose ‘YES’ and keyed in Companion and Children name…After that proceed to select 2 Adult, 1 Youth and 1 Child.. Total amount charged is for 2 Adult, 1 Youth, 1 Child and 1 Swiss Family Card for FREE. Did I filling it wrongly?

Hi Chuteck,
According to the screenshot you’re on the wrong website (domestic SBB site). Please click the link I gave you to the simpler SBB tourist web shop. That should work fine.

Wrong website? We choose ‘Visitor Abroad’ under this site. The correct link is shop.switzerlandtravel centre.com/#/en/home? Ok, we will try again. Thank you Arno

Hi Chuteck,
Well, I meant not the one I linked to earlier. I linked to the SBB shop specifically for tourist products only. This website is much simpler, they have far less issues with foreign credit cards, and are easier to contact in case of issues. So that’s the recommend place to turn to if you prefer to purchase from SBB (you can purchase from others too, as listed on http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/price).
Did it all work out now?
