First traveling from Zurich to Zermatt. Will spend 2 days in Zermatt to Engelburg for a day then on to. In Interlaken we pick up our tour group.. My confusion is which pass, as we are staying in Zermatt 2 days. Does the Swiss Travel pass count as consecutive days if we use the pass to ride other types of rail styles or do we need to buy the Flex Pass?

Hi mlbfish and welcome to MySwissAlps!

The Swiss Travel Pass and Swiss Travel Pass Flex cover the exact same routes and trips. The Flex pass is non-consecutive so you can choose say 3 out of 30 days to use it if needed (on a 3 day pass). but you pay a premium for it. If your trip is 4 days total before meeting your tour group then a 4 day Swiss Travel Pass would make more sense economically.
