Swiss Travel Pass & passport question

    Hello, We are planning on buying several swiss travel passes before the sale ends on March 31. This is the problem…..our daughter has to change her name on her passport. Her new passport will not arrive until after the sale date. I’m not sure if her current passport number will change when she receives her new passport with the name change. Can I order the Travel Pass with her current passport number? What will happen if her new passport has a different number? Thank you so much!

    Hi Susan and welcome to MySwissAlps!

    I would not order the Swiss Travel Pass for your daughter – but no reason no to buy for yourselves at least.

    With a new passport she will get a new passport number (as shame as I don’t see the need for the # to change). If the numbers don’t match up then the Swiss Travel Pass would be invalid.
