I was thinking of buying our passes via the promotion, but then found that they charge a handling fee. With their prices being higher than in the first place, even with the discount code applied the saving is so small that I don’t think it’s worth buying them so far ahead ( we’re not arriving in Switzerland until 12 September.)

It doesn't look as if Happyrail charge a handling fee and the passes can be printed immediately instead of waiting up to 2 days as with Raileurope.

Hi Judy,

It is definitely worth doing the math even with promotions. HappyRail does not have promotions so far but their base prices are very good. Indeed no extra fee, and you'll receive your Swiss Travel Pass within 30 minutes. You'll find all options through isstravelpass/price and HappyRail here: https://www.happyrail. com/en/pass/europe/swi tzerland/swiss-travel-pass-consecutive.
