Hi, I am planning a trip to Switzerland June 2022. I plan to spend 7 days in the Bernese Oberland region and the remaining days in Montreux, Lucerne, and Zurich. Is there any benefit to purchasing a Swiss Travel pass and also a Regional pass for Bernese Oberland for the 7 days or should I purchase only the Swiss Travel pass to cover the entire trip? Thanks!

The Swiss Travel Pass provides pretty good coverage in the Bernese Oberland: http://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/validity. You’d have to be traveling quite intensively in the Bernese Oberland for an additional Regional-Pass to pay off: http://www.myswissalps.com/regionalpassberneseoberland/validity. But you should indeed calculate your options as explained by Anna to make sure. And if you do, note that holders of a valid Swiss Travel Pass get a discount on the Regional-Pass Bernese Oberland: http://www.myswissalps.com/regionalpassberneseoberland/price.
