Glacier Express or Bernina Express? Most scenic?

    We r planning our Swiss trip in end May or first week of June.

    Is there any chance of getting snow during any train journey?

    Which route is more scenic Glacier Express or Bernina Express.?

    Hi Arnabghosh,

    I’m not sure if one is dramatically more scenic than the other. I haven’t done the Bernina Express trip though I like to think they are similar.

    The Glacier Express does go over the Oberalp Pass at just about 2100 meters. There is a reasonable chance of snow there. This trip is quite a bit longer than the Bernina Express as well. You’ll certainly see snow on the mountains from the train and also on the mountains when you are in Zermatt where you start or end that trip.
