    Hi Arnabghosh,

You can find train schedules here: http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable. Just fill out Zermatt and Wengen and your date/time. Yes, you can buy tickets and reservations at the station if you wish, from 7:00 AM.

    Hi Arnabghosh

The timetable will show that you will need to change at Visp, Spiez, Interlaken Ost and Lauterbrunnen. For a more scenic but longer route stay on at Visp, change instead at Brig and take the route from there via Kandersteg.

The changes between trains are all well signed but listen out for platform changes.

    Hints:

If you go via Brig, the train from Zermatt stops outside the station. Follow the crowd across the road and into the main station.

Be careful not to get off at Interlaken West but stay on the train another minute or three to Interlaken Ost. Your train from there invariably leaves from platform 2. Make sure you get into the Lauterbrunnen section in sector A. Again, it’s well signed and there are usually railway staff to help you.

There’s a very old joke. If you’re going to Lauterbrunnen, get into the front half of the train as the rear half doesn’t stop there!
