Please suggest some 3 star accommodation in zermatt with Matterhorn view from the room/ balcony. As I want to do some time-lapse photography during sunrise.

BTW what is the sunrise and sunset time in zermatt at the end of May?

where is better to stay Interlaken or Grindelwald?

You can search for sunrise/sunset times for any town here: http://www.myswissalps.com/time

Also, do note a fair number of hotels have rooms with Matterhorn views. You’re best off finding a a few hotels you like (try looking here to start) and contacting them to inquire about possible views from some of their rooms.

Hopefully the weather works out in your favour and you get some great shots!

As for Grindelwald vs. Interlaken – what are you hoping to see or do? Usually people prefer Grindelwald as it has nicer scenery and is a bit prettier than Interlaken (if that is what you are looking for).

We stayed at Hotel Matterhornblick a few years ago. We had a balcony that faced the Matterhorn and we captured hundreds of photos of the sunrise! It was so special. enjoy!

We really enjoyed staying at Riffelalp Resort and had great views of the Matterhorn from our balcony. See attached photos taken from our room balcony. The first one is just after sunrise Mark
