Hi everyone,

To make it easier to create itineraries, we’ve added more precise operation dates on our pages about panoramic trains, cable cars, funiculars, etc. Check the Route tab for the trip you’re interested in to find details. We don’t have pages for all cable cars in Switzerland, so here are the closure dates of a few more:

• Funicular from Mürren to Allmendhubel: 15 October to 14 December 2018, 8 April to 14 June 2019, 14 October to 13 December 2019.
• Chair lifts Trübsee–Jochpass–Engstlenalp: 15 October to mid-December 2018, 29 April to 14 June 2019, 14 October to mid-December 2019.
• Stoos: 19 November to 7 December 2018, month of April 2019.
• Zermatt – Sunnegga – Blauherd – Rothorn:
  • Zermatt to Sunnegga: 15 October to 23 November 2018, 24 April until late May 2019.
  • Sunnegga to Blauherd: 1 October to 23 November 2018, 24 April until late May 2019.
  • Blauherd to Rothorn is closed at least until sometime in winter 2018/19 due extensive maintenance work.
• Glacier 3000: 24 September 2018 until 2 November 2018.
• Lake Oeschinen (Oeschinensee): 22 October until 21 December 2018, 18 March until early May 2019.
• Grimselwelt:
  • Gelmerbahn funicular: 22 October 2018 until late May 2019.
  • Trift gondola: 22 October 2018 until early June 2019.
  • Talli gondola: 29 October 2018 until early May 2019.
  • Sidelhorn gondola: closes 22 October 2018 (coincides with Grimsel Pass road opening and closing).
  • Reichenbach funicular: 8 October 2018 until early May 2019.
