    Hi,

Can you let us know which month will be good for us to make a trip to Switzerland, March or April?

We are not interested in hiking or climbing to top of mountains….we would love to spend our holiday in a relaxed state with scenic spots around. We would love to travel mostly by train and choosing wengen/Interlaken as area of interest.

    Suggest some ideas, please.

    thanks

    Hi Tharani,

Relaxing and visiting scenic places can be done all year round, but I do recommend to check the timetable of cable cars/cogwheel trains of peaks you’d like to visit. March is winter sports season. In April, things will be quieter and transportation to some of the peaks might be closed. Various restaurants and hotels will close too around that time. It all depends on what you like, but this gives you a general idea. Most important is the weather of the day, but you can’t plan for that. By the end of April it’s Spring in the valleys and it can be pretty warm (no guarantees). More about the area can be found here:
