Hey… Keep me in loop, in case you get some information on this. I am also planning the trip same time. Hoping there will be snow.

Hi Mary,
The weather in Switzerland, in September can be quite good.

Weather on the mountains however can be good or bad, year-round. You’ll want to decide to go to a mountain top based on the weather that day (or forecasts from a day or so before).

Hi Mani,
The Jungfraujoch and Klein Matterhorn have Glaciers and there is snow there year-round. 🙂

Thanks!
Will there be enough snow on mountains to enjoy in sep end?
And is it a good idea to do up & down from zurich.

Use the timetable to plan the trips from Zurich – very long days though to either place. https://www.myswissalp s.com/timetable
How do you mean enjoy? There is always snow there but maybe not accessible for you or family members to “play in” if that is what you mean.

Hey Lucas,
By enough snow I meant to play, with family, though skiing s not my thing.
Let me know your thoughts. If required we can move our trip from 2-3 weeks.

There is a snow park at Jungfraujoch and snow tubing at Klein Matterhorn open in the summer.
Look here under more info on other websites:

Hi, Lukas!
What would be the weather like in July end in Interlaken? Shall we carry umbrella or raincoat?

I’d have an umbrella or rain coat packed on your trip yes – it could rain.
