Swiss rail pass for family with a car?

    Hi,

    we group f 8 adults and 4 kids planning to visit swiz in august 15 ,planning to take rent a car from zurich airport through the trip driving the same for our local traveling and intrested to travel jungfrouch,mount rigi, mount titlis through rail and a cruize trip.is there chance to reduce the cost if we are purchasing rail pass .??? Which pass need to purchase for above mentioned traveling for 4 days.???

    For car drivers, most of the time the Swiss Half Fare Card makes the most sense. It gets you 50% off all boat, train, cable car and bus trips you end up making and it looks like you are making a few.

    An FYI. If your kids are between 6 and 15 you can add on the free Swiss Family Card when ordering the Swiss Half Fare Card. This entitles them to free travel when with you. Children under 6 are free without needing to buy a ticket or pass.
