Hello. I will take TGV from Paris to Zurich soon. I have 2 quesiotns.

1st: How can I get the custom stamp for tax refund?

I searched the internet and found that I need to get off at Basel where the only place that French custom appears. If so, I probably will miss my connecting tgv to Zurich. So my 2nd question is if I need to pay extra to get back on tgv to Zurich?

    thank you very much!

    Hi Vanissaoy,

I have no personal experience with the tax refunds at the border, but I can tell you that getting off the train is no problem. There are plenty of trains from Basel to Zurich. Your TGV will depart soon after arrival, so you can’t take that one. Your ticket is valid for all trains unless it specifically says it isn’t. You won’t have a reserved seat on the next train, but you don’t need that anyway: http://www.myswissalps.com/train/reservations.
