    Hi All

I know that there is a spread sheet to do your own calculations for the best pass. However, just wondering if you could glance at my itinerary to see if there is a stand out or if they are fairly close with costs. We are staying in Lucurne in April for 6 nights.

DAY 1 Travel from Lake Como to Luzurn by rail (if using STP then look around Lucurne

DAY 2 Travel to The Schilthorn ( i know that in 2019 the Schilthorn is only 50% discounted). Part of the jouney to Murren we were planning on doing the Mountain View Walk. Going to the Falls at Lauterbrunnen on way back

    DAY 3 TITLIS

    DAY 4 RIGI OR PILUTUS

DAY 5 Travel to Interlaken and do lake cruise on Lake Thun stopping at Spiez and ride up to Mount Niesen. Explore Thun and a castle

Day 6 Haven’t planned this day as yet. Options were Bern, or the Golden Pass to Montreaux and seeing the castle or possibly doing more activities in Lucurne

DAY 7 Travel by train from Lucurne toVenice

I only just looked at the Tell Pass and thought this may be an option?

I know if we had STP we would need it for 8 days

Many thanks again for your time and help in planning our trip and answering all my questions.

    Debbie

    Hi Lucy,

Only days 3 and 4 offer the best use of a Tell Pass: http://www.myswissalps.com/te llpass/validity – if you were spending more of your days near Lucerne it could make sense , but you’ve got several days outside the Lucerne area.

And…Schilthorn is now included in the Swiss Travel Pass (100% coverage) for 2019 – this just changed. http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/validity

I think the 8 day Swiss Travel Pass (http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/price) even at 50% for Schilthorn would make more sense for you – and now it definitely does.

You also only need to buy tickets to and from Italy from the Swiss border (Chiasso on Day 1 and/or Domodossola on day 7 depending on your route).
