Is there room on The Bernina Express to take a Ti lite ZRA. Either in the luggage van or on the seat next to you in the first class.

Hi Brian, and welcome to MySwissAlps!

Yes. You can reserve a wheelchair space on the Bernina Express by telephoning the Railservice:

If you have any follow-up questions, we will be happy to help, but ask you to please start a new topic in the appropriate forum, instead of in the Trip Reports forum :-)

Thank you for your reply.

Do you have to purchase a ticket for a wheelchair for the space on the seat where the wheelchair might go?

Or do you put the wheelchair in the guards van as luggage on The Bernina Express?

Where is the best place to bored The Bernina Express Milan, Lake Como, Torino?

Hi Brian,

There is a FAQ page here on traveling the Bernina Express with mobility issues. There is also a contact form which may be best to answer your question about luggage costs for a wheelchair.

The Bernina Express starts in Tirano, Italy and heads into Switzerland and Chur, so Milan and Lake Como aren't on the route.
