We have purchased a consecutive 4 day rail pass.

We have made seat reservations, however are unable to purchase 50% off rail ticket which we understand is what we have to pay to take the train from Lucerne to Interlaken East. Is this correct and how do we purchase these tickets?

    Thank you

    Kit

If you have a 4 day Swiss Travel Pass covering the day you are travelling Luzern to Interlaken Ost then you don’t need a ticket. Just show your pass to the inspector on the train.

Make sure you have a look at this page and get familiar with the map you can download there.

You don’t really need seat reservations for Luzern – Interlaken trains, which is run by Zentralbahn (ZB); a Swiss Travel Pass is valid in any ZB train for no extra cost
