I will be taking the Bernina Express and Bus from St. Moritz on Jun 13 and thereafter the Gotthard Panorama to Fluelen on Jun 15. I have a day to spend in Lugano and would like some inputs on things to do whilst am there.There is Monte Salvatore and Bre and the town of Gandria.

Are some of the other places worth a visit – Morcote, Capalago, Monte San Giorgio,Monte Generoso?

Also, does the Swiss Pass qualify for free bus and boat rides in the region??

Yes, The Swiss Travel Pass covers the boat cruise at Lake Lugano and gives 50% off the funiculars (not obvious on the Swiss Travel Pass map I know – https://www.myswissalp s.com/swisstravelpass/ validity
