Hello!

I see that tickets for Chillon Castle on their website have a certain number available per day. I understand that admission is free with the Swiss Travel Pass, but if we wait until we arrive, I presume there will be no tickets available (July 27). If I buy the tickets online now, will they refund my money when I visit? Suggestions?

It is correct that the Swiss Travel Pass provides you with free entrance to the Chillon Castle. I believe the limitation you’re talking about is for the guided tours, I don’t think unguided tours are limited.

Although they use the term “groups” in the English version in German it simply says “visitors”, which is that I assume it might be a language issue. Maybe contact them via email to be entirely sure?!
