Tickets for Jungfraujoch needed ahead of time?

    Is it necessary to buy advance tickets for the jungfraujoch? I am hesitant because of unknown weather conditions. I will be there May 1.

    On May 1 you will be there during off season so there is no need to buy tickets even the day ahead of time. You can wait until you have clear skies (if you are there more than one day) and buy the ticket that day
