I want to the freedom to choose each day what we do with our time in Switzerland.(will have Swiss Pass) Do you really have to plan and get tickets in advance for Schilthorn and Brienzer Rothorn etc? Can these been done the day of or just one day in advance? Thanks

    Hi CJ5,

This can definitely by done on the day of travel when you arrive at the mountain station.

Some mountains may be a bit busy (Schilthorn, Jungfraujoch) and you may have to wait in line for a bit but it really isn’t much of an issue most of the time. Those 2 mountains can be reserved a day or more before if you like as well.
