Hi,

I am not able to understand how to check timetable for gondolas & cable car rides from the trainline / sbb link provided.Is there an alternate way?

I want to check gondola timings from Furi to Schwarzsee, further to Trockener steg.

Also starting time and closing time of Boat rides as well – may be I am not a good reader of swiss timetables.

Hi Sjchaos,

The alternative way is the find the link to the timetable specifically to that cable car. You can find such links on all our cable car pages. On http://www.myswissalps.com/kl einmatterhorn/gettingt here you’ll find it under “More on other websites”, for example.

However, entering Furi to Schwarzsee in the general timetable should work just fine. If you don’t get results it may not operate that day, so pick another date then. I just checked for July 12 and it showed schedules.

It’s identical for boats, with one more thing to keep in mind: the timetable defaults to the quickest option from A to B, which is often not a boat. So you need to select your preferred mode of transport. This is explained on the timetable page: http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable.

Thanks Arno. I was able to understand finally how to check time. but cant book the tickets as i get below msg : ticket for this service is not available online. Please purchase your ticket locally.

can you give indication on price in euros for transportation into mountains? (cable car, funiculars, gondolas etc.) – is there a different website to check prices for these?

You can find prices with Arno’s first link as well. Click the link under “More on other websites”.

On the new page, click the Summer tab and then Tickets & Tariffs tab. It lists all the different cable car options. Furi to Schwarzesee is 22chf.
