I am planning to take the Wilhelm Tell Express from Lucerne in mid-August – do you have any timings for the trip to Lugano/Locarno please. I cannot seem to find any links that give these particular details. Thank you.

    Hello Hudspith, welcome to MySwissAlps!

The link is here under “More on other websites”: http://www.myswissalps.com/wi lhelmtellexpress. As the page explains, you are not restricted to those schedules. There are plenty of other boats and trains following the exact same route.

    Enjoy the trip!

Thank you Annika for the advice.

Unfortunately I was unable to book the Wilhelm Tell Express Reservation online, however, I phoned the Swiss Travel Centre and they booked it immediately for me at the same cost as if booking in Switzerland. Excellent service from STC.

    Hi Annika,

Do we need to make reservation even for Wilhelm Tell Express ? I thought seat reservation is required only for Glacier Express ? Thanks

    Hi chandraks,

Please see “Regular trains and boats versus the official Wilhelm Tell Express” on the Wilhelm Tell Express page I referred to earlier.
