I loved the document, thank you so much for creating this. I've created similar documents in the past (like for my San Francisco vacation). Do you know if another member has created something similar regarding Lauterbrunnen specifically (like the wifi, internet spots in nearby cafes and pubs, laundry hours and grocery shop hours, etc.)? I will use all the other non-specific tips from your document for our 1 week stay in the region!
Welcome to MySwissAlps! I'm afraid that Kim's document is truly unique and we don't have similar ones for other villages. Please check www.myswissalps.com/la uterbrunnen and www.myswissalps.com/wh eretogo/towns for other towns. Also you're welcome to post questions. Please open a new thread for that. Thanks!
Great information! Thank-you for putting it together.
Amazing summary - thanks Kim!
You are beyond amazing, we are so grateful to have all of your information. We will be devouring every word, as we will staying in Wengen the first week of July this summer 2020. Just glanced so far, but you have answered so many questions already!! Anxious to sit down this evening and read your every word!
Thanks for your kind words! Post back up with any questions
These documents are AMAZING and just what we needed. I wanted to THANK YOU so so much on this thread and I will ask all of my questions on a new thread and hope you will see that one! I just wanted to show my appreciation to you here- this information is truly invaluable.
I hope you find the information useful! Lots of good folks to help here on the forums
Kim has been kind enough to update her extensive document with tips for Wengen and surroundings, and share it with all of us. Your can find it attached to my original post.
Thank you Kim!
Well since it's updated looks like it's time for to start planning another trip!! :-)
There's always another trip, right pkerr??? :-)
Kim, I really wish I had seen your helpful tips before we left on our trip to Switzerland! We had a great time in the Wengen area, but the information you included in your document would have made it even better! That's okay--gives me a reason to start planning another trip! Thank you!
Thank you Kim,
Love the document, have it saved to my desktop.
You won't have any trouble quickly finding answers to your questions once you arrive. Lauterbrunnen is about three blocks long! There is no public laundromat. There are a couple of cafes/bars with internet hotspots, they advertise such in their windows. There is a small Coop supermarket by the train station open 7 days a week from 8:00 - 19:00 www.coop.ch/de/standorte/coop-supermarkt-lauterbrunnen/4014_POS
Where are you staying? Some of the lodging includes wifi
Thank you very much for sharing this excellent resource with this community, Kim!
I have been to the region several times and I still learned some new helpful tips.
Your hard work and wisdom is much appreciated!
