    Hi

    1. Can I purchase my train tickets for Grindelwald to Brescia, Italy and get a discount with my Half Fare Card?

    2. If so,what is the easiest way for me to buy these tickets?

    Thanking you

    Hi Jeff,

With the Swiss Half-fare Card you will get a half-fare discount between Grindelwald and Domodossola (effectively the Italian Border).

You can buy via the SBB Ticket Shop – you will need to nominate Half-fare as a reduction for the Swiss leg of the journey. Check the timetable here http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable . The fastest routing is via Milan.

    Hi Jeff,

You can buy your tickets online for the Swiss portion here (to Domodossola) and for the Italian portion here (on to Brescia).

    Hi Lucas,

Both your links have a Swiss Station Ticket Office as a purchasing option. Surely buying the tickets on-line from the web-based SBB Ticket Shop, as I suggested, is a valid option?

Yup, definitely an option as well! Didn’t mean to say you were incorrect. Just adding other options 🙂
