Hi Brat and Welcome to MySwissAlps,

You will NOT have to buy any ticket for the journey from Zurich to Lucerne, assuming you hold the Swiss Travel Pass as you say. Simply bord the train and show the pass when required to do so.

Check about details of the Swiss Travel Pass, incl. exact validity, purchase options, etc. in below link:

You WILL however need TO GET a Swiss Family Card for your daughter, which you get for free if you hold the Swiss Travel Pass. Find the corresponding link below:

So get the Swiss Travel Passes, the Swiss Family Card, bord the train and ENJOY! 🙂

    Best,
    Steph

Zurich – Luzern is a main line inter-city railway. If all the passengers in your party already have valid Swiss Travel Pass or other ticket, you can get on any train on any Swiss Inter-city railway route
