Hi Rika,

On May 30, you may want to buy a day pass (get the 9 o'clock pass) unless you need to get going before 9am. This covers the area from the airport to downtown Zurich and nearby transit zones on trains, trams and buses for around 10chf.

For May 31, I don't think any pass would be worth the cost for going to and from the Rhein Fall and then one-way to Luzern...the Swiss Half-Fare card that gives you around 50% off is 120 chf.

A point to point ticket from Zurich to the RheinFall can be as low as 12chf one-way and Luzern is around 25chf one-way.

Check the SBB Timetable here for schedules and fares.

Lucas your input has been very valuable. Thx

we are arriving at Zurich airport around 7 PM. I thought there was a 24hr(1day) pass we can get from airport for use 5/30 to 5/31.

My SWP starts on 6/1for 8 days, so is it possible to get discount on the day passes on other days i.e.: 5/30, 5/31 & 6/10 return zermatt to Zurich airport

I am surprised there are no 10 day passes.

pls advice

Rika

HI Rika,

Yes, there is the ZurichCARD for 24 hours that would work for you. See the link near the bottom of our page here for more details and how to buy it.

No, unfortunately there is no discount available to you with the Swiss Travel Pass before it is valid.

Regards,
Lucas
