Hi I need suggestion for train pass.

I will be travelling :

26 Mar : Zurich to Lucern(2N)

27 Mar : Mt Titlis or pilatus

28 Mar : Lucern to Interlaken to Lauterbann(2N)

29 Mar : Lauterbann to Jungfraouch

30 Mar : around Interlaken

So which pass is cost effective :

Swiss Travel pass, Half fare, Regional pass .. (including mountain trains.

Or how would car rental compare .. we are three adults. Pickup at Zurich and drop at Interlaken.

thanks

Is that your complete itinerary? What happens after Interlaken?

Have you read www.myswissalps.com/ca rversustrain and “How to choose the best travel pass” (www.myswissalps.com/tr ain/ticketspasses/prac tical/chooserailpass)?

Hi aptuae,

You'll need to plan out all your train, bus, boat and cable car trips you will make in Switzerland and do the math to compare costs. The link from rockoyster will help with the math (a good spread sheet is there).
