Hallo again! After looking at the rail map, does anyone know the exact route from the Geneva Airport to Wengen? Also, depending on route, how many train transfers will be involved? I appreciate any & all expert help.

    Hi Cjwebs,

If you fill out your departure location and destination in the online timetable it will show you all the fastest options (including transfer details) to get there: http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable.

If you prefer the most scenic route I’d recommend the slower Golden Pass route: http://www.myswissalps.com/go ldenpass. Enter Zweisimmen in the via-field to get that route.

Normally, the ‘official’ direct route from Genève to Wengen would be considered to be Genève – Bern – Interlaken – Wengen which is 3 changes (at Bern, Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen).

If travelling this summer, because of the works between Lausanne and Bern, the best ‘fast’ route is probably Genève – Visp – Spiez – Interlaken – Wengen (4 changes of train)
