Hi, i have ready many posts, but unable to make out which website is good for booking tickets to jungfrau.

    I have already purchased STP.

On SBB webiste, it always include half fare card, though i never select that option.

Either it has no discount or half fare card which is not correct for me.

Please let me know authentic website for booking tickets.

on “switzerlandtravelcentr e.com” it says Route “Wengen – Grindelwald”. what does that mean ?

    Is this authentic ?

To get from Interlaken to Jungfraujoch you can go either via Wengen or via Grindelwald.

    This graphic shows how:

    Hi Ankit,

The website you mentioned in your first post is the SBB tourist webshop and you can buy your ticket right there: https://shop.switzerla ndtravelcentre.com/#/e n/product/excursionJun gfrau. Just tick the Swiss Travel Pass box to get the discounted ticket. You’ll find the same link on the page that Lucas referred to.

    Hello Lucas,

Using the link on your post, I get different prices from the various options Viator, Swiss Travel Centre and Rail Europe.

I will have the STP along with the Family Card, 2 adults and 1 child (15). and would like to go to Jungfraujoch (from Interlaken) using one route, via Lauterbrunnen/Wengen and back to Interlaken via the other route, Grindelwald.

What site can I use to do this and find the best fares?

The first link with Viator is with the Swiss Travel Pass discount so that would be the best option.

You don’t need a ticket for your child (the Swiss Family Card is all he/she needs).

    hey Lucas,

if i want to purchase jungfrau and titlis tickets directly from train station, do they accept international credit card?

    Or they just need CHF?

    Hi Ankit,

No worries, we only link to authentic reliable websites on MySwissAlps. It’s the official SBB tourist webshop.

Credit cards are accepted at stations, but I don’t know whether they accept each and every credit card there is. If you prefer to buy online you can easily do so from the website we talked about, and print your ticket at home.

Hi Lucas, hoped I have seen your post earlier. I went up Jungfaur 2 days ago from Interlakan West station. I paid at the office for CHF330 for 2 person with STP. Your post shows much lower prices at CHF 274. Wonder why such great differences in prices ?

Yeah 330chf is too much I think (if my math is correct).

In the high season, (June, July, August) a one-way fare from Wengen or Grindelwald is 207chf round-trip (you don’t pay from Interlaken to either town with the Swiss Travel Pass). Then reduce the cost by 25% with STP = 155chf per person or 310 total – that is what you should have paid.

For travel in the winter and spring, until May 31 it would be 274chf.

You can buy the tickets at any station (wherever you have time).

Lauterbrunnen to Wengen is free. Wengen to Jungfraujoch is 183chf (round-trip) and you will get 25% off with your Swiss Travel Pass.

    Thanks Lucas.

On SBB timetable, i can see train from Lauterbrunnen to Kleine Scheidegg.

Then we have cogwheel from Kleine Scheidegg to Jungfrau.

So with STP, do we have free ticket until Kleine Scheidegg ?

It is free until Wengen, you’ll need a discounted ticket for the rest of the trip. Please download the map from http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/validity and zoom in, so you can see exactly what’s free and what’s not free.
