I am intending to travel from Chur to Zermatt on the route via Andermatt.

At the first change the timetable gives me a 3 minute transfer on foot from a Regio Express on platform 3 to a Regio direction Andermatt with no platform specified.

Is this change possible and how will I know what platform to go to?

I’d be very grateful for any advice, Thank you.

Anne C. (too old to run!)

Hi Anne, thank you for joining us here!

No need to worry, short transfers are perfectly normal in Switzerland. Disentis/Mustér is a small station with only one platform where trains stop across from each other. There is one more platform with one track but I don’t think many trains stop there. In either case it should be an easy transfer and 75% of the other passengers will probably switch to the same train.

Enjoy the trip, the scenery is wonderful!

Thank you very much, that’s so helpful. I’m looking forward to a holiday on the Swiss trains. Anne.
