Hi tejaskumar10,
Have you researched the page on activities in Lucerne? Jungfraujoch is indeed expensive and a fair trip from Lucerne. An alternative could be Mt. Pilatus or Mt. Titlis.
You can use the Swiss timetable to plan your trip. This way you can find out how much time it takes you from A to B.

I’m not aware of any strikes in Switzerland.

The strikes are in France. Keep an eye on this http://www.sncf.com/sncv1/en/ trainstatus.
Stanserhorn fits with Titlis not Trummelbach.
A much “cheaper” option to Jungfraujoch is Schilthorn (http://www.myswissalps.com/sc hilthorn).
From Lauterbrunnen a very nice circuit to do is to Grütschalp (cable car), Mürren (cogwheel train), Gimmelwald (cable car), Stechelberg (cable car), Lauterbrunnen (bus). From Mürren you can easily visit Schiltorn. In between Stechelberg and Lauterbrunnen the bus stops at the Trummelbach Falls.
There is a small entry fee for the falls but the rest of that trip from Lucerne and back is free.
