My husband and I will be traveling to Bern in June and would like to do some hiking and biking, explore the Alps. Can anyone recommend scenic day trips from Bern that involve hiking and if possible, biking?

Welcome to the forum.

Bern is centrally located and an excellent base for travel to scenic areas. The most obvious is the Bernese Oberland, and it would certainly save time each day if you stayed closer to it.

Also, for hiking or bike trails, Switzerland mobility provides good suggestions. I suspect that you know that you can rent bikes at many rail stations?

When in June will you be there? It makes a difference in the Alps, because winter hangs on well into June.
